These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Siccsegv's website and services. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
1. Services
Siccsegv provides cybersecurity and technology services including but not limited to:
- Penetration testing and security assessments
- Linux system administration and hardening
- Web development and security review
- Cybersecurity training
- Scripting and automation
The specific scope of each engagement will be defined in a separate Statement of Work (SoW) or agreement.
2. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about your systems and scope of work
- Obtain all necessary authorisations before we commence any security testing
- Ensure you have the legal right to authorise testing on the systems identified
- Provide timely access to systems, personnel, and information as needed
- Not use our services for any unlawful purpose
3. No Guarantee
Important: Penetration testing and security assessments are point-in-time evaluations. While we employ industry-best methodologies and tools, no assessment can guarantee the discovery of all vulnerabilities or weaknesses. Security is an ongoing process, and our findings represent the state of systems only at the time of testing. Siccsegv does not warrant that any system will be free from security vulnerabilities after our engagement.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Siccsegv's total liability arising from or related to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the fees paid by you for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim. In no event shall Siccsegv be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business interruption.
5. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of all information shared during the course of an engagement. Siccsegv will not disclose your findings, system details, or any confidential information to third parties without your written consent, except as required by law. You agree not to disclose our testing methodologies, tools, or proprietary techniques.
6. Intellectual Property
Reports, findings, and deliverables prepared specifically for you remain your property upon full payment. Our methodologies, tools, frameworks, and proprietary techniques remain the intellectual property of Siccsegv. Nothing in these Terms grants you any license to our intellectual property.
7. Payment Terms
Payment terms are specified in the individual SoW or agreement for each engagement. Invoices are due within the period stated on the invoice. Late payments may incur additional charges at the rate specified in the agreement.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate an engagement with written notice as specified in the applicable agreement. Upon termination, you will pay for all services rendered up to the date of termination. Confidentiality obligations survive termination of these Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Siccsegv harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising from: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) your use of our services without proper authorisation; or (c) any third-party claim related to your systems or data.
